The Auto Clam is the press most shops start on and most shops keep. It opens itself the moment the cycle ends, which is the single feature that saves the most garments — walk away mid-press and the platen lifts on its own instead of scorching what's underneath. That makes it practical to run a press while you weed the next transfer or answer the phone.
The clamshell design takes up far less bench space than a swing-away, and the wide opening still gives you room to lay a garment flat without fighting the upper platen. Digital readouts cover time, temperature, and pressure, so a setting you dial in once is a setting you can repeat.
Choose your platen size at checkout. The 11" x 15" suits youth garments, left-chest work, and shops tight on space; 16" x 16" handles most adult front prints; 16" x 20" gives you full-back coverage and oversized designs.
