About this product
ES3 is Mimaki's eco-solvent ink: fast drying, with superior media adhesion and brilliant colour reproduction at high print speeds. It is virtually odourless and needs no special ventilation, which is what lets it run in a shop that shares air with an office or a customer-facing counter.
Prints hold up on a wide range of scratch-resistant media, making ES3 the long-serving choice across the JV3, JV5, JV33, JV150, JV300 and CJV families — a lot of machines that are still earning their keep run on it.
Six colours come in 440 ml cartridges: the four process colours plus light cyan and light magenta for smoother gradients and cleaner skin tones. White is a specialty ink supplied in a 220 ml cartridge under its own part number, for backing graphics on clear and dark media.
