About this product
TP410 is the textile pigment ink behind Mimaki's TRAPIS transfer pigment system. Its binder fixes colour to the fibre under heat, so prints stay vivid and fade-resistant while the fabric keeps its breathability and water absorbency.
Because TRAPIS prints to transfer paper and moves the image across with a calender, the run needs no steaming, washing or drying afterwards. That takes the water stage out of textile printing and opens the process to natural and synthetic fibres alike — cotton, hemp, nylon, polyester and blends.
The eight-colour set reaches a gamut comparable to dye inks, with the brightness and sharpness to hold fine gradations, thin lines and small type. Blue, red and green extend spot-colour reach for logos and brand artwork, and light black smooths neutral tones. Low formaldehyde content and ZDHC MRSL Lv. 3 conformance keep it suitable for skin-contact end products.
