What this part is
During each cleaning cycle the wiper sweeps across the printhead nozzle plate, clearing residual ink and dried film so the nozzles fire cleanly. A worn or hardened wiper smears instead of cleaning and quickly leads to missing nozzles, so it is a routine maintenance consumable.
This part is used on the Mimaki UJF series compact UV-LED flatbeds, used for direct-to-object printing on items like promotional goods, panels and packaging samples.
