It gives vivid, brilliant colour on wool, silk, leather and nylon — fibres that reactive and disperse dyes cannot serve properly — which makes it the ink behind scarves, ties, swimwear, activewear, lingerie and soft furnishing work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDye inks bond into the fibre rather than sitting on top of it, so the fabric keeps its hand and drape and the colour goes right through rather than crusting the surface.
