Description
5W is our latest and greatest recovery fluid for aqueous print heads. It has the highest recovery rate of over 90% and it works with all water-based inks: DTG, dye sublimation, pigment, reactive and acid dye, and specialty inks.
The optimal working temperature for this fluid is 45°C.
Usage Instructions
Fluid 5W works in combination with fluid S2. Start cleaning your print head with S2 fluid at 30°C. If you don't have good results even after running intense programs like the KM1024 Heavy, proceed to switching from S2 to 5W.
Flush your PHD machine with distilled water and drain it.
Add fluid 5W to cover the bottom of the adapter by 5mm and set the temperature on the ultrasonic tank to 45°C. To speed up the heating, turn on the ultrasound manually for 20 minutes. There should be no print head in the adapter.
Once the temperature has reached 45°, turn the ultrasound off (if it's still running), install your print head on the adapter, and start cleaning it with one of the programs. Do not clean for longer than 1 hour.
Do not attempt to check the nozzle "curtain" with this fluid. It's too viscous for that.
After the cleaning program is finished, turn the heating off. Lift the print head and run the Intake cycle for a few seconds to remove fluid from the print head. Disconnect the print head.
Drain the fluid 5W back into its bottle.
Flush the PHD machine with distilled water.
Load the fluid S2 and run one of the cleaning programs, such as KM1024 Heavy.
