FOREVER Laser Transparent paper is a premium heat transfer paper for printing custom t-shirts. FOREVER, Laser Transparent features a unique transfer layer that can be applied as a whole sheet or as a self-weeding print with no excessive background. It's a great option for high quality and washes fast, resulting in light color t-shirts and other textile surfaces.

  • Laser printable clear heat transfer paper for t-shirts and apparel items - compatible with most standard laser printers.
  • It can be applied with self-weeding results or a full transfer sheet application
  • A great option for a wide range of standard fabrics or textile surfaces such as canvas, jute, etc.
  • It can be applied to 100% cotton, polyester, or blend fabric types of white/light-color

Specifications:

  • Compatible with most standard laser printers - please note, due to the widely varying nature of laser printing technology on the market, we cannot guarantee papers with ANY laser printers outside the OKI Data models we support. We recommend checking with the manufacturer ahead of time to ensure your printer does not heat up over 350F to ensure the best results.
  • Must be applied by heat press application only - cannot be applied with a conventional home iron.
  • Clear heat transfer paper with proper storage (cool, dark, sealed location) typically has a shelf life of one year.
  • Not recommended to be used with HP or Brother printers due to the lower quality of toner.

Printing Instructions

  • For OKI 831TS, OKI 920WT, and OKI 711WT: set the media to type setting to Label 2.
  • For any other printer: Start with a Heavy setting and increase to Transparency or Label if you see streaks/smearing. 
  • Print the design on the blank side of the paper in REVERSE or other words, flip it horizontally. This can be done within the design program or printer’s settings (see your printer manual for more information).

  • The paper should be fed into the copier/printer with the short dimension first, ideally using a straight path bypass tray. 
  • We recommend single-sheet feeding.

Application Instructions

Heat Press Only

  1. Prepare the heat press at 355-360 F° for cotton or 305 F° for polyester.
  2. Press the fabric first to ensure flatness and to remove any moisture; let it cool completely.
  3. Place heat transfer paper with the image facing down in the desired position on the fabric.
  4. Using the above-recommended temperature, apply firm pressure (60 PSI or greater) for 30 seconds.
  5. After pressing, rub the back of the transfer with a cloth for 5-10 seconds, and peel back with one smooth, consistent motion. 
  6. You may repress the transfer with a silicone sheet for 10 seconds and lightly stretch the transfer horizontally while still hot for better durability.
